Mike acts for a broad range of property owners and developers on all aspects of property transactions, including commercial and residential sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, subdivisions and land developments, commercial developments and property finance.

He has previously been a commercial property lender for one of the mainstream banks, and a partner in the banking practice of a national law firm, with a particular focus on property finance. That unique experience and understanding of the property finance market often helps him to guide his clients through the challenging property finance waters.

Mike prides himself on developing strong, enjoyable relationships with his clients, and providing them with considered, pragmatic, timely advice.

  • Assisted clients with the acquisition, subdivision and sale of lots in residential subdivisions comprising in excess of 400 sections
  • Assisted clients to negotiate and conclude numerous new commercial leases and resolve lease issues
  • Assisted a client negotiate and enter into a joint venture property development
  • Advised clients on a number of commercial property sales and acquisitions
  • Assisted a client to satisfy its development financing loan conditions with its bank
