Rebecca specialises in trusts and estates. She assists clients in putting in place clear structures so their assets are protected and their wishes respected. This includes advising on trusts, Wills and enduring Powers of Attorney. Rebecca understands that family dynamics are becoming more complicated and as such, careful consideration and a pragmatic approach is required to ensure any risk of a claim against the trust or estate is minimised.

Rebecca is passionate about finding the right solution for you by getting to know you and your family so she can help provide you with the right advice and guide you and your family through whatever you may face.

"I understand discussing your Wills and asset planning can be difficult. I try to bring ease to the conversation and leave you feeling reassured that your wishes will be met.

It is important to me that my clients understand what we are doing for them and the reasons why. Trusts and Estates can be complicated, and I see it as my role to give good, clear explanations of how they operate."

Rebecca also has an interest in film and has written and directed a film, Tohunga, which played at the New Zealand International Film Festival, as well as a number of overseas film festivals. Rebecca is currently a board member of the Kāporangi Kiriata Māori Film Arts Trust and was previously a board member of the Touch Compass Art Trust.

Rebecca is an Associate STEP member.
