Michael Dickie
Business - Principal
Michael is a Senior Principal and heads our business team.
He specialises in advising a range of SMEs and larger clients (including listed companies) on business acquisitions and disposals, capital raising, joint ventures, limited partnerships, general commercial contracts, insolvency and debt restructuring.
Michael's sector experience includes private equity, agri-business, transport, information technology, tourism and leisure, property investment and development, financial services, manufacturing and retail.
"I have advised a wide range of clients (both in New Zealand and overseas) over a long period. While there are similarities, each situation is different and the key is to listen and truly understand a client’s expectations and what they are looking to achieve. He is the current chair of Cavell Leitch’s Board of Directors, is a member of the Institute of Directors and INSOL and has been admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of England and Wales (non-practising).
